Housing Initiatives of Princeton

We are  a community-based transitional housing organization whose members are concerned about homelessness and the unmet need for affordable and low-income housing in Princeton.

HIP helps low-income working families to stay and thrive in our community through generous support from businesses, individuals, partner congregations, agencies, and foundations.

We manage seven homes in the Princeton area and rent them at affordable rates to local families in need.  Families facing homelessness are referred to HIP by social services agencies or they contact us during a general search of affordable housing options.
