Event and Community Photographer

OCTOBER 2024: Experience Princeton could use the eyes of a few volunteer photographers to capture magical moments at cultural and business events in the community. These photos will be used in social media and ongoing print and digital ad campaigns.

Selfie-Station Attendant

OCTOBER 2024: Experience Princeton has a rolling selfie-station that is available for area businesses and non-profits to utilize. Take the station to different locations and events, show how it is used, and make sure it gets back to Experience Princeton in one piece.

Cleanliness Ambassador

OCTOBER 2024: Keep an eye on the streets and sidewalks to ensure that Princeton is in top physical condition. Where there is litter, trash cans left out for a long time, or things that could use a quick fix - work with EP and businesses to help them make those changes.

Small Business Saturday Organizer

OCTOBER 2024: Reach out to businesses and gather offers and activities for Small Business Saturday. EP will help to promote these as part of a campaign leading up to the Saturday after Thanksgiving when Small Business Saturday promotions are held nationwide.

Storefront Design Advisor

OCTOBER 2024: Advise businesses on quick low-cost ways that they can improve the appearance of their storefront. Encourage these businesses to apply for an EP Storefront Improvement grant. A total of 10 grants of $500 each will be given out through June 30, 2025 or until funds are all spent. Design guidelines and training will be provided as part of this project.

Ribbon Cutting Coordinator

OCTOBER 2024: On average there are 15 new businesses that open in Princeton each year. Help increase the profile of these businesses through organizing high-visibility ribbon cuttings with businesses, elected officials, and VIPs.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TEAM

This team is focused on improving the economic vitality of Princeton by working to attract and maintain diverse businesses, advocating for allowable uses, modernizing zoning and building application processes and improving transportation and way finding options that make Princeton easier to navigate. MARKETING AND EVENTS TEAM

This team is focused promoting both the work of Experience Princeton and the Princeton business community. In the last year, this team led another successful Restaurant Week, helped launch the Experience Princeton Digital Gift Card and has continued to promote the cultural and business events of Princeton through the seasonal Gift Local, Bloom Local, Summer Local and Fall for Local campaigns. StreetScapes team

This team aims to improve the physical and visual assets that set Princeton’s commercial districts apart. Over the past year, this team has worked to install plantings along Nassau Street, improved the holiday lights in Hinds Plaza, added short-term public art to the area and ensured that the streets, sidewalks and storefronts are in their best condition. Administration team

This team is focused on cultivating partnerships, community involvement and resources for Experience Princeton. It helps manage the organization’s finances, provides development opportunities for the board, and works with the Executive Director to help identify funding resources to grow the work of Experience Princeton.
